During the winter months, this spot also becomes a great vantage point for watching humpback whales as they migrate through Hawaiʻi’s waters."

Pickups generally begin up to 20 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
Your exact pickup time may be adjusted based on your location on the hotel pickup list, and any updates will be reflected in your confirmation email.
Please note: The driver has a 10–15 minute grace period for traffic or other unavoidable circumstances. This grace period is for the driver ONLY.
Guests must be ready at their scheduled pickup time, as the driver cannot wait due to multiple stops and the tour’s designated start time at the crater.

Special requirements
-Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Guests must be able to walk on paved trails with moderate inclines.
Restrictions
-Moderate hike with a steady paved incline; suitable for most guests in average physical condition.
- Guests with impaired mobility or balance issues should take caution.
- Pregnant women are welcome, but should consult their doctor and be mindful of the uphill walk, pacing themselves as needed.
- Children must be supervised.
- Sun exposure can be significant at times; bring sun protection.

Cancellations or changes to your reservation (including number of guests, date, time) must be made at least 48 hours in advance of tour date. Cancellations within this window are non-refundable.
