The Paddle Pass gives you the freedom to explore the 52-acre Wai Kai Lagoon at your own pace, using various watercraft throughout the day. Whether you prefer kayaking, paddleboarding, or any other available craft, this pass offers unlimited access for a full day of adventure on the water.

Bringing Your Own Equipment:

$10/day Fee: You can bring your own watercraft for a $10/day fee, which will be inspected and approved by waterfront staff to ensure safety.

What's Included

Access to Lagoon Watercrafts: Paddleboards, kayaks, and other watercrafts (based on availability). Availability is subject to daily bookings and weather conditions, ensuring safe and enjoyable experiences for all.

Full-Day Use: The pass allows you to use watercrafts throughout the day—explore the lagoon as much as you’d like!

Restrictions

All guests must wear an approved USCG Type II PFD. Guests must always wear an approved USCG certified life jacket while in The Lagoon and on the dock. Life jackets will be provided.
Must be age 4+
Lagoon Participants must be at least 4 years old and 30lbs. All children 17 and under require parent supervision. For children under 8 years old, a parent must be on the same watercraft. For children under 14 years old, a parent must be present on the lagoon with the child.

🚫 Note: Mahalo for not bringing outside food & beverage, coolers, tents and chairs.
🚫 Note: No hats/sunglasses or mobile devices are allowed on the lagoon. Items are not retrievable if dropped in the water.
🚫 Note: Please refrain from using one-time decorations. We discourage use of balloons, streamers, confetti, etc.

Cancellations

48 Hours in advance:# 48 Hours in advance:

For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch to confirm your cancellation and/or reschedule no less than 48 hours before the scheduled activity (surf, paddle, lesson, scheduled pick-up time, or other product/service booking). Any bookings cancelled within 48-hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.

24 Hours in advance:

For bookings made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai to be eligible for re-booking or receive the transaction amount, less a $5 administrative fee per transaction, you must call 808-515-7873 or visit Launch no less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity to confirm your re-booking or gift card request. Any bookings not rebooked within 24 hours or no-shows will result in a 100% forfeiture of the amount paid.

Third Party Sellers:

For bookings not made directly through The LineUp at Wai Kai, refund inquiries must be sent to the purchasing agent, agency, or site you booked through and must adhere to their rules and restrictions.

Groups & Programs:

Bookings for Group Events, Na Opio Kai, Wai Kai Surf Academy/Lessons, or other specialty clinics – please refer to the specific cancellation policies and terms identified for those programs.

Safety & Weather

The safety of our guests is our number one priority and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. The LineUp at Wai Kai reserves the right to cancel any reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds or lightning). If so, we will reschedule or provide a refund to for the activity that was cancelled. Rescheduling and gift cards will only be issued if their experience is limited to 2 hours or less and/or less than 50% of the activity time slot. 2 hours or more than 50% off activity time slots will not be eligible for any refund compensation.
